Nestled on Tarbert Farm, this charming café is a delightful pit stop for all who appreciate quality, locally-made treats. With its warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to recharge during your island explorations.

Wee Isle Dairy is especially renowned for its exquisite ice cream. Imagine indulging in a scoop of their traditional flavor, so creamy and rich, it practically melts in your mouth. According to customer 'A T', it’s simply “amazing,” and you’ll find flavors like the intriguing Bramble and Peat that tantalize the tastebuds, creating a wonderful experience for your palate.

The café also serves up a selection of simple yet scrumptious dishes that complement their sweet offerings. Diners rave about the delicious homemade soup, which one satisfied visitor, 'Rosie Chitty', found to be a standout dish. Whether you're craving a light lunch or a comforting snack, the menu does not disappoint.

Guests often find the atmosphere here particularly welcoming, setting it apart from more commercial establishments. For those seeking a relaxing environment, you can sit indoors, where friendly staff are eager to chat, or enjoy your meal al fresco as you take in the stunning natural landscapes of Gigha.

One notable touch is the personal service that customers often highlight. 'Jenny Milne' recounts a delightful encounter with Don, who not only provided exceptional service but also introduced her family to the café's standout ice cream. Personal touches like this enhance your experience, making you feel truly valued.

The café is not just about ice cream and snacks; it's also a great spot for a morning pick-me-up. Customers like 'Teresa Davis' appreciate stopping by for coffee and freshly baked scones after a long journey, as it offers both delicious choices and necessary conveniences including toilet facilities and a small shop to pick up local products.

No visit to Wee Isle Dairy is complete without trying their famous ice cream, which has drawn tasting enthusiasts from all over, even inspiring visitors to travel specifically for these delights. As Vicky Northern noted, it’s an “amazing” stop for breakfast or lunch and encapsulates everything wonderful about dining on Gigha.

In essence, Wee Isle Dairy is a charming, local gem that embodies the spirit of the Isle of Gigha. Whether you're in for the ice cream, the lovely atmosphere, or the friendly conversation, you’re sure to leave with a smile and perhaps even a desire to return.

Only had coffee and cake, then chips and coffee on my second visit. However all was great and the chips were potato wedges, great value for money. The staff were happy to chat, when not to busy. You can eat indoors or site out side.

We had the pleasure of meeting Don yesterday during a wonderful family trip to Gigha. Not only did he rescue a very weary family from a long walk to the ferry, he introduced us to the BEST ice cream, milk and ice cream sauce we have EVER had!! We will definitely be heading for Wee Isle Dairy at our local store! Thank you Don!

Amazing icecream! We discovered it on Barra at Cafe Kismul and then decided to travel to Gighq for their ice-cream. That said Gigha is a very special place.

Great place for a stop off for coffee and a scone. The ice cream looked good too with so much choice for flavours, all locally made. Friendly service with toilet facilities and a little shop too.
